The YouTube widget shows a creator's most recent uploads right on your page. Enter a channel's handle and the widget keeps a tidy list of their latest videos — title, thumbnail, and when each went up — refreshing on its own. It's a good way to keep an eye on a few favorite channels without opening YouTube.
Adding the YouTube widget
- Open the page you want to add it to and click Edit in the page header.
- Click Add Widget.
- Choose YouTube from the picker, under the Data category.
- Pick a channel (see below), then save.
You have two ways to choose a channel. Browse curated lets you pick from Linkamatic's suggested channels, grouped by interest, so you can add one without knowing its handle. Enter handle lets you type a creator's handle yourself — for example @veritasium — or paste the address of their channel. Choose Find and Linkamatic looks up the channel; once it shows the channel's name, you can save.
Settings
Open a widget's settings from the gear on its toolbar in edit mode.

How it stays current
The widget checks for new videos about every fifteen minutes while it's on screen, and pauses when it scrolls out of view. Clicking a video opens it on YouTube in a new tab. If a channel can't be loaded, the widget shows a short message with a Retry button.
